**Sometimes God is not the one we seek**

Rise Valkyrie of the gods
Hold fast against the tide
Fear not the raging Cyclops
Cause the Kraken to kneel at your feet
Let your sword sing a vengeful hymn

Stand atop your slain
Plant your standard in an empty skull
Know victory against those opposed
Claim supremacy over all the land
Dominate the strong and the weak

Most powerful vixen
Unleash your wrath now
Rise like an angel of mourning
Bringing a horrible white death
A judgment in your favor

Herald in a new era
Where all must pay homage
Sharpen your blade on those who rebel
Show them the power of being merciless
For they should tremble before you

Crowned in crimson chaos you stride forth
Letting the blood of the fallen stain your cloak
Oh how I yearn for your splendid slaughter
Your maniacal malevolence
The burning eyes of hatred

We welcome your damnation
Fury incarnate
Sister of immortality
Glorify us in our butchery
For we are a wicked people

*Rise like an angel of mourning Bringing a horrible white death A judgment in your favor* Like a cross between Iron Maiden and Rush. Hell yes. Nicely done.

I love how the last stanza tied this all together. From the beginning, this tapestry of myth and eloquence was glorious... the ending merely made the smile explode over my face. "Glorify us in our butchery/For we are a wicked people." Absolutely love it.
