The portal opened
A rift to the divine
The monks sat in utter silence
In awe of the sight beheld
The pinnacle of desire
Every belief realized

The ancient texts foretold of this event
When the great eye would open
And gaze into the realm of men
The scrolls told of a silent judgment
When each soul’s fate would be decided

Answers could be found
With a simple passage to the beyond
The offering of all they had

Decision laid before them
For each to take their chance
To display their level of faith

To walk into the afterlife
Or stay and help others

To the great reunion
