Now the commercials make sense
For I am living the movie star life:
Royalty bows on my arrival
The sun begs me to attend it
From the luxury of a hotel I can’t afford,
I witness a view too rich for my bottom line
A town, a beach, a Mediterranean shore
Tucked into a hillside that releases waterfalls
White shore birds pace the beach
Filling my eyes with quiet elegance

The balcony where I take my breakfast
Perches upon a utopia:
That begs you to forget what troubles you
This place closes in on tropical
Filled with beauty in all its forms
The sky is shown in the glory of blue
Filled only with pink flamingos and white pelicans
Clouds refuse to break into this dream like skyscape

From the jagged ridgeline behind the hotel
Morning light pours in
Warming first the coast, then the sleepy city
Highlighting the market place in dawn
Lighting halos on the passing tourists
There is no other place like Greece
