I have reached the pinnacle of isolationism
You may call me the master recluse
From my teachings, you too can suffer in silence
There are many paths to loneliness
I recommend the following expressways:

Egotism
It helps to believe others are inferior to you
Either by social pedigree or financial standing
Realizing that others are not worthy of your time,
is the first step in achieving complete seclusion

Silence
Silence is the key to my success
I escape the day speaking fewer than 1,000 words
Accepting verbal torture without reply
Letting turmoil build unchecked

Low Self esteem
Having no self-esteem is the golden path to detachment
Recognizing you are not worthy to be near others,
frees you to become the perfect student of solitariness
Let your temple of esteem fall to ruins

You have outgrown the need for family
Let them slip into the realm of distant memory
Accept not the console of those you call friends
They are emotional leeches focused on self-interest

You have surpassed the basic need for acceptance
A graduate of the isolationism dojo
Your island of self-reliance must not be invaded
Make a stand against those who reach for you

From the mountain top of success
I see you peers of depression
Watch you climb to the craggy crown of complete seclusion
What need do you really have of others?

Gather around, you followers of detachment
Cast aside your cloaks of dependence
Toss your crutches of social acceptance aside
Cleanse yourself in the river of neglect

Walk with me to the gates of loneliness
Leave me to stand alone on the other side
Refuse to take the final steps with me
Allow me to achieve perfect withdrawal

I liked this, you left out the issue of trust, even those whom you consider to be the most trustworthy will eventually violate that trust as you will theirs. S.
