Plagiarists are awful creatures
How could they do it?
Hold on just a sec….
I have another C.D. to burn
(Pirate)

Plagiarists are jealous of me
Not creative enough to be original
How do you like my new profile art?
I just linked it from another website
(Thief)

Plagiarists should be punished for their actions
I feel so violated
Have you seen the newest hackerz site
The one for downloading movies?
(Law breaker)

Plagiarists have no right to my poems
There should be a way to stop them
A way to disable ‘cut and paste’
The government should get involved
(Hypocrite)

For every plagiarist caught, there are many more
Who “borrow” the words and never tell
(How am I to know?)
Accept the bitter medicine
Making work public, puts it at risk

It’s the equivalent of having your kids play in the street
You know the risk going in
This cake has no frosting
Put your false righteousness aside
Write to write

I think you did a great job with this. You didn't break it down with endless circles of flawed logic and reason to make it sound like everything is unoriginal anymore, so everything is something of anothers. No...you made it real...you kept it simple...an

meh.. i don't think pirating is the same thing as plagiarism. at all. it might be theft, but it's not like you download a song and say "yeah i wrote, sung, and produced this cure song"

this makes me smile....just call me the 'Black Beard of Muse'ick'.....the only thing I consider forbidden to copy is me and my personality.......after all poetic words have been recycled through time....that's how they stay alive I guess:)elisa
