Blue painted skies
Beige colored beaches
A postcard tropical setting
Sweating glass in hand
Umbrella shadow caster

Lounging by the sea
Gulls portraying squatters
Surfers chasing waves
Children building castles
Sounds of a volleyball game

Feet buried in hot sand
Water waders submerge
Seeking sunburn solace
Surrendering to relaxation
Beach utopia

liked the last stanza best, calmed me.. though that sounds cliche, it was relaxing with simple imagery to compliment it. nice work.
