I called for you in the night
You did not come
You will not risk being seen with me
Hiding is what you do
Hide from yourself
Always running from your self judgments
Playing hide and seek with your conscience

I keep you around for my personal gratification
I don’t mind what my friends say about you
Time will sever the few remaining strands of attachment
Sooner or later you will be free of me
Until then, I stay your back pocket girlfriend
Trying to draw you near
Trying to push you away
Calling for you in an empty room
Refusing to commit to a condemned relationship

It's so heartwrenching to see you write this. Yet, it's so flawless in its expression...do know that I am here, Re.
