I’ve lost my soul along the way
Somewhere in the pile of corpses
I’ve dumped my conscience to ease the load
I’ll never be a pack mule for emotion
I’ve tucked my morals into my shoes
Out of sight, out of mind
These things I do not miss
They only got in the way of a good time
Free from the burdens of doing right
I have enjoyed every minute of every day
There is no room for inhibitions in my life
I have granted myself freedom
A freedom easy to envy
Based on self-indulgence
I do not have time for consequences
I am in a hurry to meet my needs
