The sun is neon white
A burning globe of aggression
Releasing it's will
To those enslaved to its pull

I have lost my faith in earth
It has lost its stability
Left me a slave
A victim of gravity

I search the heavens
For the cosmic truth
Why I seek more
More than I'd ever need

Tucked into the folds of space
Is the mystery of my soul
Lost in front of my face
Is the secret of creation

Close enough to feel
Hints of warmth teasing me
As winds of fate
Buffet my aura
