Dear DarkPoetry community,

It has been with a guilty conscience that I have not written this before now. The reasons why, are not important. Now that time has been favorable to me, I am seizing the opportunity to express my deepest appreciation to each and every one of you whom I have had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with. The entire DarkPoetry community has been helpful and understanding as I pursued abstract ways of expressing myself.
To each of you who took the time to leave a comment or to dpmail me, I thank you. I recognize how much easier it is to simply scan through the numerous new posts each day and click on to the next piece. By taking the time to share your reactions and emotions with me, you have given me the courage and inspiration to continue to write and post my creations publicly. Without your encouragement and support, my blessings would be diminished.
Having been a member of this site for several years, it amazes me still, that I have yet to meet someone who could not teach me something. Either in the ways of writing or in other aspects of life. I take these lessons to heart and remember them in time of need.
In all honesty, I often feel unworthy to be among the likes of such great company. As I tend to leave few comments and am emotionally closed to the majority of you. There are nights I feel I have not earned the consideration of such highly esteemed associates. In the chaos of my life, I have always known that stability and understanding could be found here.
To those who are part of my inner circle, you mean more to me than can be expressed in text. You constantly provide the inspiration needed to create new works. You have guided me on the exploration of my complex emotions. We have been silly and serious together. These are the moments I am not soon to forget. In time, I hope to reciprocate your generosity.
