We all want to be somewhere else
A place where we are confident with ourselves
In a sphere where we have unlimited self-esteem
A place where money is never a concern
We want to find the kingdom of a perfect love
We seek a place where we feel welcome
Eagerly chase mirages of greener pastures
Rather than put time into our upkeep

In our dash to be in a better place
We miss the exit to self reflection
Are we seeing our growth in the corrupted view of better places?
What are we to do, when we get there,
To a place where dreams come true?
Would we dream new dreams or relive our nightmares?

There's shit in every pasture but sometimes it's not visible from the other side in the distance. A true poet's lament. -Carl

I'm afraid that if I ever found my "greener pastures" I would probably find myself looking over the fence, wondering if there wasn't something better out there... LOL...
