The hardest part of love, is letting go
Cutting the losses on the investment
Singing your passion to sleep
Letting desire slip from your fingers

The hardest part of love, is letting go
Surrendering to rationale and logic
Sacrificing your future for sanity
Taking up the yoke of self-reliance

The hardest part of love, is letting go
Setting your lover free
Shutting the door on shared experiences
Reducing your life to recycled memories

The hardest part of love, is letting go
Finding the strength to carry on alone
Returning to the place you left behind
Rebuilding the walls you tore down

The hardest part of love, is letting go
Inviting emptiness back into your life
Removing the one who completes you
Letting go of the person who truly understands you

love and loss can be a banal subject but you breath in life to this piece and make every word so full of emotion without exaggerating the pain.. i love your style. good read -lime.
