Excalibur is drawn from rock
The mists of Avalon roll in
My steed stirs with uneasiness
Regardless of what dusk may bring
I will find my life forfeit
Either I will end the day victorious
Slaying the one you are promised to
Or, I will have seen my last sunrise
Falling victim to a blinding hatred
This will be a battle of epic proportion
Eclipsing the greatest of Greek battles
Kingdoms are pitted against one another
Over as simple a thing, as a woman
If only men's egos were more tempered
Perhaps it would not have come to this
A clash of arms to settle affairs of the heart
Lancelot and Guinevere have doomed us all
The second coming of Adam and Eve
Temptation not resisted
Leads us to the fall of a kingdom
King Arthur may yet, ride again
If his aim remains true today
The mists of Avalon roll out
Leaving a legend dying on the ground
Excalibur is relinquished to the Lady of the Lake
