In another time and place, things would have been different
I would have been a hundred times more sensitive
I would have remained passionate
Spent more time with you
Called more often

In another time and place, things would have been different
I would have fulfilled more dreams
I would have been more charming
Not hesitated to share my feelings
Spoken more poetic words

In another time and place, things would have been different
I would have conquered your fears
I would have held you longer
Gazed into your eyes every single day
Taken you out many more times

In another time and place, things would have been the same
I would have broken your heart
I would have been imperfect
Lost the only thing that mattered
Ended up alone with my tears

*sighs* This poem reminds of a past memory that is identical to this. So, so sad.
