Trees bowed down with leaves in shades of fading life,
Heat from summers burning sun starts to fade.
Evening shade lengthens into earlier nights.

Taste treats for Halloween,
Hand roughened by the long days harvest,
Apples dipped in caramel,
Nutmeg for pumpkin pie,
Knights, goblins, ghost, witches and cartoon images scatter along the streets,
Fun laughter mischief fill children’s heart,
Under harvest moon friends start to gather.
Long summer days quickly turn to cooler fall evenings,

Together families gather,
In honor of Natures bounty,
Memories shared from years past.
Ever head bowed as each gives thanks for another year gone bye.
