The fire burns,
blinding light,
engulfing the heat of hell,
the smoke covers the world,
the smell of flesh,
smuldering in the embers,

Sitting upon a throne of skulls
laughing at the vain attempt
to quell the never ending fire,
Horns and tail wings of fallen angle,
they beg to god for salvation,
knowing enternity never passes,

The names they call out,
a king of eternal damnation,
once sat beside the savior,
watching a world evolve,
tempting and fighting
falling out of favor,

Now the balance unstable
a change is upon,
men hide in fear,
angles fly into the sun,
smoke chokes the new born babe
heaven seems lost,

Past in the time of ancient crusades
the pyramids stand tall and quietly decaying,
in the glens know one remebers the meaning of the stones,
All that once was is forever gone
machines with out conscienes walk the world
man cowers behind the change of time

Sitting on his throne,
laughing at the fates
all the while staring down from heaven gate
he who is said to be God
can only watch
unwilling to intercede on mans behalf

So the tides of change
cover humanity,
heaven is now hell
hell is now heaven
each laughing
as the battle rages on

To me this paints a perfect image of the proclaimed "Judgement Day". At least that is how I intrepreted it, written in such a mystical way.
