Please read Fortress by Recycled first or this may not make any sense.

At first light,
a dove brought forth a declaration,
surrender or fight.

The message quiet clear,
just out side my fortress,
an army lay near.

My reply to this returned,
not by dove but flamming arrow,
a white flag burned.

"Lay siege you will not,
my walls are pure,
you will lose the army you brought,

emotions will never survive against will,
I am loyal to only my self,
for my treasures I will kill,

I meed no grand view,
for I shall fight,
for of my ramparts there strength is true,

my archers are many and will create a firey rain,
pride will shield my throne,
for by night your troops will be slain,

my walls are more then stone
I need not induce fear,
for truth will conquer you alone,

I laugh at the thought of siege,
not even hours will I endure,
for I have honor my liege,

there is no prize,
just towers of stone,
and a kingdom built of lies,

"a heart as pure as Virgin streams"
I laugh,
maybe in your troubled dreams,

should my gates give way
and you enter my walls
In hell it will be a cold day,

My heart you can not take,
for it is not a casualty of war,
but was locked away when love was fake,

no prisoner shall it be,
for once unlocked,
it will be set free,

if battle you still seek,
I shall fire the first shot,
see this fortress is and never shall be weak,

One last thought,
should you win,
you will realize that I never truely fought........."

seems as if your fortress was rebuilt twice as strong. I immensely enjoyed Re's work (a fav). Yours truly complimented it. Beauty in strength.

She seemed quite insistent about what she had said... I could beat my head on this thing until I was half dead... Should I get a rope to climb this wall... Risk the danger, risk the fall...
