im tearing you limb from limb
weeping all the while
if i could but find all the peices
id carry you home
and fix you

im ripping stitch by stitch
my fray caught in your fingers
as i walk i fall
as you cry, you cant see clearly
to knit me back to normal

what is it i didnt see
what were those words you said
what was it that made me so alien

im standing here
on the edge of the universe
screaming out
inane babble
praying you can still speak
the same language
praying you would bother to hear
the words of a madman

the pain is absolutely tangible in this, and the ending is...quietly hard-hitting... excellent write, subtly yet powerfully expressed.
