That girl...
that one there...
I see her...and I know
she sees me.
Id cut her from that icy cold surface...
and destroy her again.
The world sees her...
beautiful..secretive...desirable.
How they'd love to get their hands on her,
break her again.
Shatter that frozen heart,
and watch it wither in their trail
as they leave her again.
Laugh, as the world
shuns her.
Smiles, as she cries
alone and bloody in he corner.
Their eyes are razors
treading on her skin.
Peircing and uninvited.
Mock, belittle her in your jelously.
Make her feel ike the shit you are.
She hides in a shell,
and they try to break in.
Poking holes,
just big enough to let the light in.
And she turns away,
stronger than they'll ever be.
Able to walk away
without usung their own words on them.
Returns to her cave,
an abused owl
with broken wings
that never mend.
And cries tears of mercury.
Pining for someone who doesnt exsist.
So leave her....
in her own grief....
in that silver, icy cold gaze
that I see...reflected...
in my own mirror.

A lot of people have written poetry about their reflection and mirrors, but you*ve taken the cake. This is the only one I actually enjoyed reading. Excellent job!!
