How my heart sinks ...

sinks quicker than the heaviest ship in the deepest ocean
the soul too dark and complex to understand its meaning ...
But yet, there is still glimpses of light within it's darkest corners
and within it, within those corners the flames of hope alights
because even in the darkest places
there is always light that shines brighter than a thousand suns.
