You know,
you never were quite as beautiful as when you were angry.

The human passion,
whether it be love or indignation,
is indeed an awesome thing to behold.

Your brown eyes would flash
and your lips would press until they paled,
like lightning over a desert.

Your hands would carve pain into my arms
and your words form holes in my heart,
like ancient caverns molded by water.

Your were rain ruining a wedding, but far less forgiving.

"like ancient caverns molded by water" loved the images in this, very powerful.

so many images... changing before the eyes, like the title suggests... I, personally, love the comparison to lightening ... says to much of passion, and yet so fleeting as lightening... powerful yet but a millisecond.... and the last image... soft like rain, but more permanent, a forever no one wants. very nicely conceived and expressed.

Vivid metaphors, and beautifully captured in words. Passion/anger. Cool stuff. Write on.

I love this...I was told recently by a man that I worked with that he constantly pisses me off only because he loves to watch me when I'm angry. It's strange how people can find beauty in even the worst situations. Very good title, as well.
