Claws reach Down

Down my Throat

Rending my Heart

Ripping my Lungs

From my Body

While I Retch

Calling your Name

nothing says love like vomit... but really, I got this sense of a love that is soo deep, so much a part of the speaker, that it is painful... that removal is physical and deadly. nice.

Thanks, but I have never taken a single drag. I didn't think of it that way, but that's the cool thing about poetry and perspective. We all see things from our own vantage point. ( pun intended, Isn't there a brand of cigs called Vantage ?) - I'm afraid that all I can focus on is the soul-rending effects of lost love, which coincidentally, I have oft described as a cancer of the spirit.
