What does one do when the only thing he has to fall back on is something he left behind?
Some might tell him to lean on Faith
Some would encourage him to Stand Strong
Some might tell him to Hold On
Some might say to Reach for the Future
He may try all of these,
But only one thing is certain
If he fails to press forward

and there is nothing one can say that can ever remove the past upon which some cannot cease to fall... there is a concept that comes from some philosopher of fallenness... its like the idea of the fall from eden but turned into the concept of fallen onto a past... we are born into something and fall upon that something... we are always already impaled by our past, like Vlad was waiting for us from the womb, and now we have only to slowly descend onto the sharpened post as we solidify into what we were... as we end as what we used to be... as we all must become just a memory... hope I cheered you up.
