Life is like a chess game
Against a sadistic genius

Every move has repercussions
That I don't see as traps

Methodically she takes away
Everything I hold dear

And leaves me in a position
That is unrecoverable

There comes a time in every game
When the ending looms apparent

Now I lose my Queen
I am well and truly forked

Don't know anything about chess but, I don't need to know to understand this. We are all pawns in each other's games. Most people don't even realize they are playing.... Good stuff, Schley. xoxo

I like chess so I enjoyed this...esspecially "well and truly forked" lol. Isn't it funny how women seem to know the moves about 4 steps ahead of us??? I'm just a pawn trying not to get captured and taken off the board..:)Snake
