I hear you crying, I know your pain, for I have felt it before,

Fidelity lost, by the one you love, lies spoken, truth twisted,

Vengeance will not be sought...for you still love her,

You still provide for her, though she commits sins of the flesh on those who call themselves...."Just Friends"

Her smile is an infection, burning deep, as if nothing is wrong as if she feels nothing,

Betrayed by the one you trust the vows broken , the line destroyed....

The word cheat, such a painful heart searing word, you gave it to him, my friend,

I honor him by respecting you, though you surely dont deserve it.

I had a childhood friend that got married and then got deployed to Iraq two months later. He was there for 18 months and when he got home, she was living with another man and had already had a child for him...

Lots of couples when going to war just decide to temporarily share their affections with others, it's far easier that way I am sure and you get to keep the person you love when you return.
