Its time to let me go, time to cut the cord, all the things to make me stay, you say with every spoken word,

I am my own man now and you need to let it go, for if you keep prying you will surely know,

That I am not a child and I dont live in your house, I am fighting this war on my own accord, not by your permission

Though I did not choose my fate in this conflict of hate, all in all loyalty is a matter of date, so lets try and clear this slate, before its too late,

You argue with my ways to protect me against this world, though this world I am a part of, whether you like it or not,

All these words might surprise you, as if your little boy could be soo cold, the fact is just that, I am not your little boy anymore...

So let me go and you will see that all in all we are still family.
