Wake up! Has this dream stopped?
I left the chaos and disorder
Back there over my shoulder
Stoned immaculate in woods chopped

P'ere-Lachaise never had a chance
The Minister's daughter unleashed time
The other side was ALWAYS mine
Just a moonlight drive to the dance

Can you find me soft asylum?
I must find a place to hide
Feast of friends, I never died

Storms I'm still a ridin
For I am the LIZARDKING
And I can do ANYTHING

As a tribute I know this kinda sucks but I think
I followed the guidelines of an italian sonnet
at least... Obviously I used many Doors lyrics in
this and I, IN NO WAY,
claim them as my own.

I love Jim's music, lyrics, poetry and above all passion they represent, for there is seemingly nearly none left in people these days. All is well reflected in your skillfully written piece. Great tribute. Well done!
