A longing for a belonging that isn’t quite there
A home unseen
Forgotten
Nowhere
A man who’s cut through my dreams
Surrendered my soul to his wings
And departed as quickly as he came
Ugly insides, hidden in the dark
Shriveled up in shame
Raw materials turn in circles on a blank page
All written in invisible ink
For fear of a thought
A mindful being
Who just might think….
What I’m thinking
And yes I’m desperate,
Believably lonesome
For a closeness to that one
So tender
Sweet
Wholesome
Untainted
Un-tethered
By ghosts of an invisible past
The one I’ve accepted to love has gone by so fast,
Hello Lonesome,
Ours is a relationship that lasts.
