Slowly my little friend crept out
Of hiding
And danced along my skin.

I slowly let my wound open up
And let my friend, now dressed in red,
Cut a little deeper.

authors note: written for my poetry project as my personification poem. i turned it in to ms. bartz, WORST english teacher ever, may her soul rot in hell.
