I loved him.
I thought he loved me.
Until...

Trust shattered,
Empty promises,
Betrayal.

I thought I was dying,
No, I wished I was.
I was broken,
Shattered.
Then you came along.

You picked me up
And put me back together.
You listened
And cared.

No matter where,
No matter when,
No matter how,
No matter what.

You never lied,
Never hurt,
And always helped,

You may not know it
But you’ll always be
My best friend,
The one I can go to,
The one I want to go to,
The one I trust.

And I’ll always love you.
