Feel the cold steel
Slide across your skin
Slice across your skin
Sinking in

Lick the blood from the blade
Wash away the pain
May make it through another day

There it is again
Urge from within
Must be punished for my sins
Hating who I am
Blade sinking in
I can breathe again

Addicted to the feel
Addicted to the taste
Addicted to the rush
Feel my heart race

So much easier to deal
With the pain of this
Than it is to deal
With the pain of my existence

Physical pain has nothing on emotional torment, quite often I use the 'mental' band-aid to stem the flow until i'm ready to deal with a reality, very nice
