Starig off into the rain
I look into my own soul
And see what could be there.
I see utter destruction
and a child's heart with care.
I see hope of humanity
And it's iminant demise.
As the raindrops fall
I look into the reflection of
My dazed and weary eyes.

In them I see reflected
The joys of days long past.
I see the hope of tomorrow and
the love I hope will last.
I see the tears I cried and
the pain I felt by the
mean man's rough hand.
As the raindrops fall
I look into the reflection of
My dazed and weary eyes.

I see the sorrows of losing
Touch with my reality
And how it felt to have
Someone stand beside me.
I feel the pain of losing my
only brother and the security
of him sheltering and hiding me.

And all of this I see...
As the raindrops fall
I look into the reflection of
My dazed and weary eyes.

well, this is a canvas painted with many shades of pain, an experience from which you canot remove yourself how you would like too, pain that can open your heart and help you hold dear what and who you still have, treasure them always -symph-
