Ever/After
After forever
And before the time I spent with her
Was nothing more
Than surrendered pages to an unwritten chapter
Of some played out
Happy ending never read
Though it happened to have been
In the language and color of passion
Because love everlasting...
Only lasts from dusk to dawn
To days so long
To abated lust
With augmented wrong
And waking up lost
Thinking just so long as she's beside you, right?
All of it
From open feelings
To deeper meanings
And everything in between us
Doesn't matter
Because Ever/After...
Will fade from forever
Long before this is over.
