pique my interest
with the title
and i'll come a little closer
i'll give you a chance
to try out your best line
if you're good
i'll feel you touch me
and i'll read a little more
if the body of your work
sets my heart to beating
the arrangement of your words
may just start a little throbbing
breath caught in my throat
at the boldness of your stanza
come on baby
just one more line
a few strokes of your pen
i'm right there
on the edge
show me you're the one
find the right words
and i'll have multiple reads

LOL! You're really good, I mean; I laugh and I totally relate so your work is usually very straight forward. Right to the marrow of the bone. And the humor many times has dragged me out of a funk. Thanks!
