what if
at the end of your life
you had to turn around
to see all of your words
stretched out before you
like Smarties in a row
and now it's time
to eat them

your words of love
colored red
like roses
and blood
all of them red
no matter if those words
were cherished
or rejected
or ill-timed
or mocked
or embraced
or welcomed
or thrown back in your face

would you still eat the red ones last?

i wouldn't eat the read ones. but only because i don't like the red one's taste. i don't like cherries much... i eat the purple one first and then the green ones last. -mars

I'd prolly heave at the sight... I think mine would look more like skittles than Smarties, or maybe gummy bears... wouldn't that be nice...

I would eat them all, because blue ): goes very well...with red. Excellent hindsight thought, before its too late.
