something’s lost in stuccato translation
of facts and forms following equations
ifs and buts masked by sirs and ma'ams
perfect structures of the robotic dance
perfunctory answers stifling the pain
look what a good slave has to gain
stolen quarters and rations of emotions
hidden in bathrooms and drowning in oceans
the master hand feeding creeds and structure
doesn't give a dime if your stomach ruptures
as long as with the blood you spew out titles
now get down and scrub your blood off the tiles
