I sit on my bed alone
Trapped iside my own head
The last words you spoke
Still ringing in my ears
"I have a lot of problems in my life"
"You're a nice girl"
"It's not you, it's me."
"I don't want us to see each other again."
"We can never talk again."
"I have to go now. Good-bye."
The line goes dead
And all of a sudden
The four walls that is my bedroom
Close in around me
Trapping me, suffocating me
The sound of Metallica fades away
Leaving me to deal
With this random punch in the face
The tears flow free
And I know that one day
I will regret crying over you
The picture of Shawn Michaels on my wall smiles down on me
As if he is mocking my heartache
But in some way it is reassuring
Even though I cry now, I know I will smile later
Because in some sick, twisted way
I hope that sme girl does to you what you did to me
Because time always has a way of paying us back
