My writing style is usually considered to be either gloomy or depressing. I tend to write from memories or just past experiences. A lot of my poems have dark humor in it that sometimes I'm the onyl one who undertsands it or anyone else who thinks like me.
Heres a sample of my writing, its called And the ember never fades:
Dancing fire, casting light
Giving warmth throughout the night
Here lie ashes; black and dead
The embers that the fire bled
Taking life, but giving heat
(A balance that the world must meet)
Surroundings dull and turn to grey
My dearest fire fades away
Green to black and grey from gold
My happy place now dark and cold
