Ink blots on the edge of my mind
In the darkness what can you find?
A butterfly, a bat, a castle, a cat?
Perhaps its lovers embracing.
Those ebony stains, wrack my brains
Sinking into whiteness blinding
Do demons hide in gaping caves
Or ghosts haunting shallow graves?
A candle, a star, a basement, a car
Perhaps its paper angels soaring
Examine the sane, examine the brain
But to me it looks like Dalmatians barking.
