Kamikaze leaps of glory
only end in
          stun
against a window pain,
strangled fast
     satin ribbon noose
wound
         scarlet
                around alabaster.
The moonlight
      less
              poetic,
now you know what lies
         beneath,
brackish water lines
    hum of
                   Swan songs,
Tempted caged bird,
      wing clip,
    just try
 to Fly
        Away.

I can't pretend to understand this but it was an enjoyable read. Perhaps the inability to escape, I felt. That was the most overt sensation. -END
