Interesting... I like the way this captures the psychology of the unrequited lover... I wonder how many folks have followed the logic here. I take the delete/erase as indicative of what the rapist below suggests, that writing through it may help the voice here contend with the loss. I usually think of it as my past that I will not delete because it is a part of me that I will not surrender to the one who has hurt me. I guess for me its a matter of strength and pride... I will not sacrifice any of myself (my past) for someone who would revel in my loss. Rather, for me, it's a matter of conquering the loss by welcoming the opportunity that comes with it, the opportunity to love again, to love differently, to find anew myself in someone else. But that's me... a fun read... I wonder if there aren't more writing tropes you could bleed into here...

not what i was expecting but so true. every relationship we have makes us who we are. kinda hard to delete that. just remember the pains others cause us should be cherished, as pain, is the most direct way to grow. without pain there could be no happiness.

This is really good. I love the irony of it all, and I am sorry for whatever inspired it. Great write though, I'm fav-ing it
