It's here again.

Another new day
of faces and places

None of which remind me of you

I'm up again

Ready to meet a future

the empty picture frame
of what's to come

all of which
won't have you in it

I wait to close my swollen eyes

if only to
sleep

think

 sneeze

                                                             daydream

                               cry

In between
I find my hesitant gift of vision

I imagine you here

Each memory
more serene
than what my open eyes
might never again
                                                                    see

Only without sight

can I forever keep the beauty that is you

of us

Twisted skin wrapped in snapshots of we

I am going to crazy glue my eyes shut.

This deserves so much more attention, "twisted skin wrapped in snapshots of we" where on gods green, did you muster that cracker from...the whole thing was simply brilly-aunt.
