Ordinary days drip into dreaded taskings

Much to be done without any enthusiasm,

and there your beauty is before me

as you grab a grapefruit with no hesitancy...

suddenly I'm pushing cart
like a lioness covering her territory,

and your staring at me with no reluctancy,

curiously asking me...

"how do you know if this is ripe?"

doe-eyed and wet with anticipation,

I respond without hesitation,

and state emphatically...

"grab both sides, and if it squishes a little, it's just fine."

And there lies the reason why I have no sex life.

haha...loved it. 'Much to be done without any enthusiasm' -the dreariness/monotony of everyday life satirised here. love the voice -has a really dry, almost sardonic edge- v. funny - and that's not easy to pull off.

To the contrast, this is why you should have a great sex life.
