(This is the first poem that i have written in several months so i hope i havent lost my touch. It feels good to be back!)
You look down on yourself,
And you find nothing wrong,
But the blood that flows through you,
Shows that you are strong.
You move through life,
Murdering your own ambitions,
Using the dull end of the knife,
You beg for attention.
The fire that burns inside you,
Has gotten out of control,
This hand that guides you,
Has a grip on your soul.
You are lost and cannot find your way back,
Stop playing this silly game,
Before you know it, it will be too late,
Your life is going to end all the same.
You cannot turn back now,
And if you do,
You will fall back down,
Into the darkness that you created.
