i climbed out of the box
while the others couldn't
there they lay
bouncing off the walls
with unrealistic thoughts and plastic words
they closed the lid on me
as i swore i wasn't going to go back
but like a Jack-in-the-box again,
the song played
over and over in my head
i'm just another Jack-in-a-box
