is the twinkle in your eye

(he closed one eye)

"can you see my twinkle?", he said.
i could see quite the twinkle
in his perfect green eyes

i asked,
"little boy, who are you in love with?"

the little boy took my hand and said,
"you mars, i love you."





he's not a little boy anymore. he's the love of my life.
