Flipping through the pages of your eyes,
searching for facts, but
finding only lies
Now rereading your book for the thousandth time
I shouldn't act so surprised.

It's been
months in the making
and we've been
all the while faking
this unrealistic geniality,
blind eye to reality.

So many questions,
yet the answers never lessen
the searing of my flesh and
scar tissue serves as a reminder of
my cardiac lesson.

And now it
feels impossible to make a breakthrough
when it's all I can do just not to hate you
and mistreat you to escape you
but I never can
replace you.

I NEED NOTHING in this life,
but I WANT YOU by my side.
So let's opt for honesty, in place of our pride
and just roll along...
on this fucked up ride.

Sorry to disappoint, no pics here. Plus, I only have a trial membership, so I can't post images as it is... unless someone wants to pay for an upgrade for me ;-)
