I had no idea there was poetry in me until I just sat down and started writing one day. My poetry has dark tendencies, and I want to explore that, so here I am. My work is rough and unrefined, as I have no training in poetry or literature at all; it just comes from the heart. I am here to learn and get some honest helpful criticism of my work, and to see what dark poetry is all about. I really appreciate your feedback.
The following is my comment to Jay Jii's post entitled "What does your username mean?" -
It's like one day I just woke up and realized my whole life I had just gone along and accepted everything I was told and never questioned anything. As I began questioning everything in my life I scared a lot of people who knew me. So I began to question them. Whatever you are, why are you one? It makes them very uncomfortable, because no one knows why they are what they are. That's when I started writing poetry. Most of my poetry is dark, because most of what I am discovering with my questioning of my life is dark. - yru1
