There are no shadows in the darkness.
There are no lies, or half-truths or innuendos.
Only in the darkness can the truth thrive.
Free from encumbrances and entanglements.

Only in the light can shadows exist.
Deception, fraud, hypocrisy
feed upon the light and bend it to their will.
There is only a shadow of the truth
bent, twisted, deformed by forces who seek
to exploit the light for their own benefit.

In darkness there is purity.
A void without contamination.
There are no agendas, no grand schemes.
Only an absence of light.

The light breeds permutation.
With smoke and mirrors
things that are not appear as though they are
and things that are appear as though they are not.

In the darkness there is peace and rest.
Everything is as it appears.
There are no pretentions.
Only truth.
Pure, dark, untainted by light.

This has a certain "dark" beauty to it that is very moving and laden with truths.
