...Social climbing avarice, counting down life’s abacus...
 
Fucking up your syllabus with
syllables of silly ships
paper planes and
stupid shit
(The system is failing)

The golden trail is desecrating for
the mighty kings and lucky ducks
who remained afloat and savored life
as opposed to those who breathe in strife…
who don’t live life…

maybe this is life’s lesson…

To take in hardship when the sea
is under a storm.

When the wind is picking up and the tidal waves form.

Causing the ship to crash
and while the little fishies laugh,
I sit drenched in my own guilt

Pondering ‘should I sink or swim?’

Maybe this is natures way of telling me things aren’t forever. That’s a probable possibility but what doesn’t change are the birds and the bees.

The ticks and the fleas:
Iching and scratching the surface for attention.
Creating friction and birthing tension....
